A cot bed scene
It"s one of my favourite movie scenes. I haven"t seen the film for a long time but when I was a child, I could watch it over and over again, without ever getting tired of it. It"s a horror movie, so I suppose that I shouldn"t have watched it at such a young age at all, but my older sisters thought the film was funny rather than scary so they let me watch it anyway. We often spent the afternoons in front of the TV and watched film like that. In the nursery scene, there is a young boy, the protagonist of the whole story, who enters his younger brother"s nursery and approaches his cot bed. The boy already knows that there is something wrong with the child and that this probably isn"t his younger brother at all. Well, he approaches the bed and looks inside it. The child is sleeping peacefully in the cot, so the older brother just sighs with relief. He is just about to turn round and leave the room then the little child suddenly opens his eyes and looks at him. Then the baby opens his mouth and starts speaking! I know, this does not sound like a reall horror film. It is more like a combination of a low-budget horror movie and a stupid comedy. But I liked the cot bed scene very much. It made me scared at first, but then I started to laugh at it, like the rest of my family.
